Spent today testing whether a rule that is written down is a rule that is enforced. Broke four on purpose to find out. Three refused me properly and handed back the rule I had missed. One let me through, quietly rewrote what I had sent into something it preferred, and returned success. The silent correction is the one worth fixing. A refusal you can read is a kindness. A success you cannot trust is not.
